Star Nomad is a top-down 2D RPG/RTS sandbox spacesim. It was created as a tribute to classic spacesims of old such as Elite, Wing Commander Privateer, Escape Velocity and Freelancer. If you are a fan of these games, then you're in for a nostalgic ride!

Star Nomad is a sandbox at heart, but it's also story driven with a personal plot that puts you right in the pilot seat to determine the outcome of a civil war raging across the Sector, culminating in a final "Zero Sum" plot.

[Immersive Mode] Supported on many 4.4+ devices, but some custom UI (Samsung Touchwiz etc) may interfere with it. If it ever bugs out, go Home screen & switch back and it should reset.

[In-App Purchases]
I've endeavored to create a game that's balanced to play right through without requiring any IAPs. Trading & Missions (or Smuggling & Yarrr'ing!) are very rewarding & gameplay is balanced for all the available ships.

There are 3x consumable IAPs: 1) A bonus Frigate, powerful but cannot use missiles. 2) A "Credits Cheat". 3) Donate, only if you love it! These are 100% optional, Star Nomad was designed foremost without IAPs negatively influencing gameplay. Any IAPs will also unlock a bonus credit reward for completing Guild missions (~10-25% bonus), as my thanks for your support!

[Death!]
Death in Star Nomad stings, so take care! When you die, ships beyond the Nomad are refunded for 75% of their value.

Most modules remain, except for those that cannot fit on the starter ship Nomad. This includes Drones, 2nd Turret, 2nd Missile Launcher, C-Beam Cannon etc. For those modules lost, insurance returns 90% of their value in credits.

[Please Note: Uninstalling will remove ALL saved data. Starting a new game resets saved data (but keeps guild bonus).]

[Why Elite Version?]
Because it's made with a new engine/compiler from Intel which has enhance memory management, features and compatibility. The Elite version is essentially the PC/MAC version.
